Miss 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Logan Moore answers a question during a mock interview.

From mock interviews to flute lessons to regularly exercising, Miss 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 2017 Logan Moore of Van Buren has had a busy few months of preparation for the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Pageant to be held June 13-17.

Moore, who was crowned Miss 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 2017 at the university鈥檚 pageant March 11, has started a regimen that includes exercising five times a week at BodyTailors, taking flute lessons with music professor Don Bailey, and practicing interviews with Jane Slocum, mother to a former Miss Arkansas winner.

While she鈥檚 enjoyed the preparation, it鈥檚 also been a challenge.

鈥淭he workout classes at BodyTailors are normally around 30 minutes, but it is high intensity and it's definitely a challenge. I'm sore pretty much every day but I've learned to love it even if it takes me five minutes to walk downstairs in my house,鈥 she said. 鈥淕oing into Miss Arkansas this year, I feel like I am much more confident and prepared than I have been in the past, and I know this will help me immensely in the competition. I鈥檝e enjoyed it because it helps me to feel like the best version of myself, physically as well as mentally.鈥

Moore will promote her personal platform, 鈥淔ood For All,鈥 which seeks to eliminate food insecurity among families in Arkansas. She developed the platform after traveling to New York on a mission trip nearly a decade ago.

鈥淥ne of the main things that we did while there was feed sack lunches to the homeless people on the streets of New York,鈥 she said. 鈥淚 was so impacted by this mission trip that when I came back to Arkansas, I wanted to continue this service in some way, so I began volunteering regularly at our local food bank. I continued to be involved and a few years later, I became involved in the Miss Arkansas Organization and had the opportunity to grow on this platform and continue my work in the community.鈥

A nursing major, Moore transferred to 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 from a neighboring university after researching the nursing program and seeing it was one of the best in the region. According to her, 鈥淚t鈥檚 one of the best decisions I鈥檝e ever made.鈥

鈥淚 was a little nervous at first transferring into a program where I had no idea what to expect and didn't know anyone in it either,鈥 she said. 鈥淚n just two semesters, I've made some of the best friends I could ask for, and I鈥檝e have some amazing professors. The nursing program is nowhere near easy, but I love the challenge and I know once I finish, I'll feel like I can accomplish anything. Transferring also gave me the opportunity to become Miss 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播, and I have loved representing the university that I have come to love in such a short timeframe.鈥

After graduation, Moore plans on becoming a pediatric nurse and working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a children鈥檚 hospital.

But while Moore hopes to add the title of Miss Arkansas to her ever-expanding resume, she also hopes to continue forging friendships and fond memories.

鈥淚 have made so many great friendships from this organization, and I am excited to develop more friendships at Miss Arkansas,鈥 Moore said. 鈥淲hen it comes down to it, of course everyone wants to win Miss Arkansas, but aside from that, I just want to enjoy the week and have an amazing time and get the most out of every moment.鈥
